Building and Scaling the Professional Channel for Dr Rossi Skincare
The Situation
Joint Relief Institute specializes in non-surgical knee and shoulder pain relief for older adults. They brought me in as a consultant to design and execute a community engagement program that would build awareness in local markets, deepen relationships with senior centers, and ultimately drive patient acquisition.
The Challenge
Although JRI has strong and differentiated clinical offerings, its presence in local communities was limited. The opportunity was to position the practice as a trusted resource for seniors by creating consistent outreach, educational programming, and sponsorships that connected directly with patients where they live and gather.
What I Did
Designed and executed a community engagement strategy across Chicagoland, focusing on senior centers, health fairs, and local events.
Established partnerships with community organizations to co-host lunch-and-learns and educational talks.
Negotiated sponsorships with senior-focused events, ensuring brand visibility in priority markets.
Built a tracking system to monitor outreach activities, contacts, and outcomes across multiple locations.
Coordinated internal alignment by sharing weekly updates, performance metrics, and feedback loops with leadership.
The Impact
Planned and executed 32 community partnerships and sponsorships within the first three months.
Expanded JRI’s presence into three priority markets in the same timeframe.
Increased patient inquiries and strengthened JRI’s reputation as a trusted non-surgical option for seniors.
Created a repeatable outreach model that can be scaled across additional locations.
My Takeaway
Community engagement isn’t just about visibility — it’s about trust. And to make it sustainable, you need processes and systems that scale. By building SOPs and repeatable frameworks in a fast-moving area of expansion, I helped JRI grow patient volume while also laying the groundwork for long-term consistency and success.
